FB screwed something down about 2 and a bit years ago which means that big images don’t rescale properly and fail silently.

I’m having the same problem. Just upgraded, but that doesn’t seem to help.

Here’s the link: http://bit.ly/NpAoay where the image resides in the post.
I’ve also been trying to publish to my Facebook Wall for my business page at http://www.facebook.com/netmix.

Okay, so I tested it a few times and this is what I got.

If I uploaded an image and used Medium image as a setting and its height or width was less than 300, it appeared in the Facebook post when publishing using Wordbooker and keeping the thumbnail setting off.

But, I also posted the URL directly into a Facebook post and that came back with null.

This is really driving me crazy, lol.

I did do a debug of Netmix and got this back from Facebook:

Tiny og:image: All the images referenced by og:image must be at least 200px in both dimensions. Please check all the images with tag og:image in the given url and ensure that it meets the minimum specification.

The wordbooker blank image is not big enough to stop the debugger from complaining but it works. That bug is fixed in the next major release.

A diagnostic trace for a post always helps as it shows which image related options you have enabled and we can see if the image is being rejected for some reason.

This time I didn’t check “use only thumbnail” It worked like a charm :-)

Thank you for all your help
